It's seems like an obvious thing to do. Everyone will agree with me when I say that we should buy consoles not because of their brand but because of it's quality. Yet, people are still going on about the console wars and are fighting about which console it's better. Guess what folks? People can and will have different opinions and therefore people will disagree about which console is better. The problem here is that some gamers are loyal to the name of a brand not the quality of their products.
Both consoles have a lot to offer and although they are very similar they do have their differences. All I am asking is for people to go ahead and research those consoles and learn what they are capable of doing instead of making misinformed comments on the Internet. Don't hate on Microsoft because they changed their business model in order to maximize profits. Every choice by every company ever is made to make more money. Would you have liked it better if Microsoft had ignored our requests to not have DRM?
Going back to my previous point if you buy based on quality you will have the best quality 100% of the time. If you buy based on brand however you will have to hope that you are getting the best quality and therefore your chances are less than 100%. Brand loyalty does have it's place though. It allows you to be more confident about your purchase.Being a fan of a company is a rewarding relationship for both parties. You help support them and when they do something right, you feel like you helped create it. But of course being a fan shouldn't turn you into a hate-spewing jerk either.
