Microsoft have billions in the bank. The Xbox brand is a extremely small percentage of Microsoft's worth. If they really wanted to push their agenda, they could have just went with it. IMO, they probably should have just went with it. With all these changes, although good, shows weakness from their first go around. See that's the difference here. They backed their polices hard core at the beginning saying that there was a reason behind it. Then before they even tried to explain all the benefits that they felt would come of it, they pulled the 180. If they felt so passionate about these policies at the start why not just explain everything from the get go and try to prove their point? It shows me lack of leadership and plans for the future of XboxOne. Even with the majority of gamers not liking their ideas, atleast we could agree to disagree and they could have kept some respect. Eh, right now it just seems like a pure mess. Personally, I'll be adding the XboxOne to my collection somewhere a few years down the road. I do have to say, regardless of your stance, that it is refreshing to see that people with a pure passion for what they believe in and love can still create change. Now if we could get Washington to do the same.........lol.
