The Zelda series is practically notorious for its damsels in distress, whether it be someone very important to Link or the Princess for the upteenth time. Sometimes, though, kidnaps in series go farther than "Oh, no. The Princess has been kidnapped. Whatever should I do?": Some actually make you want to save the person and want to beat up whoever did the kidnapping. These, in my opinion, are such kidnaps in the Zelda franchise.
