Polygon, a videogame media website, did an article on videogame media semi-celebrity Jessica Chobot the other day. On Twitter, various members of the gaming media took to disparaging the article, once more displaying the petty and juvenile attitudes and politics of much of the gaming media. I was wondering, though, how the GIO community behaves on Twitter: is there good debate and dialogue? How often does the community tweet? What generally does the community tweet about, particular games, socio-cultural nature of gaming, the nature of the gaming media or the industry?

Who does the GIO Twitter community follow on Twitter in regards to folks in the industry?

What are ways that the GIO Twitter community could help make the dialogue and nature of how gaming communities, and gamers in general, not as petty and juvenile as how gaming media / industry folks make it appear?

And, out of curiosity, do you agree or disagree with the faults that members of the gaming media such as Leigh Alexander found with the Polygon article?
